Where the payment figures came from
Card and PayPal surcharges are in the table below and in the ranking, but not all of them are ours: two agents were checked on our own accounts, the rest come from another site’s published table. Both are marked. They also vary by country and by card issuer in ways no single figure captures.
Warehouse and disputes
How carefully they pack, how well consolidation goes, and what happens when something arrives wrong or never arrives at all. These decide more bad experiences than price does, and none of them can be measured from outside - so they are described here rather than scored.
Customs
VAT and duty are charged on arrival by your country, not by the agent, and no route avoids them reliably whatever the route name suggests.

Questions this raises
Which shopping agent is cheapest?
There is no single answer, which is why this page asks for your parcel first. Agents charge a head fee covering the first few hundred grams and then step up in fixed increments, so the order changes with weight - the agent that wins a 500 g parcel is regularly beaten at 5 kg. Coupons move it again: a 50% shipping discount at one agent beats a 20% one at another even when the second has the lower sticker rate. Set your weight, your deadline and the coupon toggle above and the page names the winner for that parcel.
Is this the price I will actually pay?
By default the page prices the shipping leg alone, which is a floor rather than a final figure. Enter what your items cost and it switches to landed cost, folding in the agent’s measured service fee and the markup it puts on the exchange rate - both of which are charged on the whole order. What still sits on top after that is payment-provider fees and whatever customs charges on arrival, so read even the landed figure as the lower end.
Where do these shipping rates come from?
A scraper reads each agent’s own shipping calculator, samples a spread of parcel weights, and fits a price curve to the points it measured. The fitted curve is then checked back against those same measurements, and any route whose curve cannot reproduce its own samples is dropped rather than published. The date of the last successful read is printed at the bottom of the page.
Why is CNShopper listed but not priced?
Its calculator declares a pricing formula but never returns a total we can check a fitted curve against, so it is the one agent in our set whose rates we cannot verify. Publishing an unverifiable number beside five verified ones would make the whole table look more certain than it is. CNShopper stays on the site and stays linkable - it simply carries no figure.
Can I use more than one coupon?
No. Every discount here applies to the shipping leg and agents apply one at a time, so the calculation picks whichever single offer is worth most for your parcel - a flat amount off wins on a cheap shipment and loses on an expensive one. None of these discounts touch the price of the goods themselves.
Does affiliate commission affect the ranking?
No. The order comes from the rate cards and nothing else, and the same calculation runs whether or not we hold a deal with the agent it puts first. We do earn a commission when you sign up through our links, which is why that disclosure sits on the page rather than in a footer nobody opens.
What does the page not measure?
Shipping, service fees, exchange markup, QC photos and free storage are all measured and dated here. What is not: how carefully a parcel is packed, how consolidation actually goes, what card and PayPal surcharges come to, and how disputes and lost packages are handled. Those decide plenty of bad experiences and none of them can be measured from outside, so we describe them rather than score them. A comparison that invents a trust percentage is worse than one that admits its scope.
How heavy is my haul going to be?
Heavier than people expect, and that is the single biggest error in any estimate made this way. Shoes in their box run well over a kilogram each, and agents charge on volumetric weight when a parcel is bulky for its mass. The haul calculator takes the weights recorded on the listings you actually added and tells you where each one came from, which is a far better input to this page than a round number.
