Use of the site constitutes acceptance of these terms. Use is free of charge and does not require an account.

The site is not directed at persons under the age of 16.

The site is not currently operated through a registered business. Should that change, the entity’s details will be published here.

RepCartel is an informational site concerning purchases from Chinese marketplaces. It provides a catalogue of publicly listed offers, guides, a shipping and agent comparison based on measured rates, a QC photograph lookup, and a browser extension.

Scope of exclusions

The operator of the site:

• does not conduct sales, hold stock, accept payment for goods, or act as a party to agreements concluded by the user;
• does not carry out shipping, store goods, or act in the capacity of an agent;
• does not manufacture, import or distribute goods;
• does not intermediate in concluding transactions — orders are placed by the user, on the user’s own account with an agent or seller;
• does not make offers of sale or purchase recommendations, and does not guarantee the quality, authenticity, legality or safety of the products presented.

Order of agents in the comparison

The order of agents follows the calculation described on the comparison page: shipping rates read from the agents’ own calculators, a measured exchange-rate markup, published fee data and verified coupons. The weight of each factor is published there. Commission is not among them, and higher placement cannot be purchased. Where the overall score indicates a different agent than the lowest price, the page states this.

No agent pays for placement in any ranking on the site. The site offers no advertising space.

Comparison page and the weights it applies

• The choice of product, seller and agent rests with the user.
• The user independently verifies that the goods purchased, imported and held comply with the law applicable at the user’s place of residence. Customs duty and VAT are assessed by the authorities of the country of destination.
• The user bears responsibility for any infringement of third-party intellectual property rights.
• Automated retrieval of the site’s content, resale of its data, and actions disrupting its operation are prohibited.

Shipping rates originate from the calculators made available by the agents and carry the date on which they were read. Exchange-rate markups are the result of measurement. Coupons carry the date of the most recent verification. This data becomes outdated; the site states the verification date of each value.

Prices do not include insurance or customs and tax charges and are converted at the mid-market rate. They should be treated as a minimum value.

The shopping consultant operates on an artificial intelligence model. Its answers may contain errors, in particular regarding customs, tax and legal matters, and do not constitute advice.

The site is made available as it stands. The operator does not guarantee its availability, completeness or correctness.

The operator is not liable for:

• goods acquired through an agent or seller, including their quality, condition, authenticity, safety and conformity with the description;
• the acts and omissions of agents and sellers, including the loss, damage or delay of a shipment;
• the legal consequences of importing or holding goods in the user’s country;
• decisions taken on the basis of information published on the site.

The above exclusions do not cover liability which cannot be excluded under applicable law, in particular for intentional fault, gross negligence and personal injury.

Trademarks, logotypes and trade names are the property of the entitled parties and are used solely for identification purposes. Their use does not indicate any association with, or endorsement by, those parties. The site is not affiliated with Weidian, Taobao, 1688, Tmall or any other marketplace.

Notices of intellectual property infringement should be sent to contact@syntaxcrew.pl, specifying the material, its location on the site and the right infringed. The material will be removed, or a statement of reasons for refusal will be provided.

Matters not governed by these terms are subject to Polish law, and the competent courts are the common courts of Poland. This provision does not deprive a consumer resident in another European Union member state of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of that state, nor of the right to bring proceedings before its courts.

The operator reserves the right to amend these terms, to modify the scope of the site and to discontinue its operation. Amendments take effect on the date given at the beginning of the document. Use of the site after that date constitutes acceptance of the new wording. Given the free-of-charge nature of the site, an amendment or discontinuation gives rise to no claim for damages.

The invalidity of any provision does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
