Understanding QC Photos
How to read and evaluate quality check photos like a pro. GL or RL?
What are QC Photos?
QC (Quality Check) photos are pictures taken by the agent when items arrive at their warehouse. They show the ACTUAL product you'll receive - not the seller's listing photos. This is your last chance to spot issues before paying for international shipping!
Standard vs Detailed QC
Standard QC (free): 3-5 basic photos, good enough for most items. Detailed/HD QC (¥2-5 / ~2-5zł): 10+ high-res photos with close-ups of tags, stitching, logos, and any areas you request. Worth it for shoes, bags, and items over 200zł!
The Size Hack
Don't know what size fits? Check QC photos! Agents often include a ruler showing exact measurements (length, width, chest). This is THE most accurate way to verify sizing - better than any size chart. Compare these measurements to your best-fitting clothes.
What to Check
Essential checkpoints: • Logo placement and quality (centered? clean stitching?) • Material texture and color accuracy • Correct size tags and labels • Overall shape and construction • Any visible defects (stains, loose threads, damage) Compare to retail photos online when possible!
GL vs RL
GL (Green Light) = Item looks good, ship it! RL (Red Light) = Issues found, return/exchange it. When in doubt, post your QC photos on Reddit r/FashionReps or Discord servers. The community will help you spot flaws you might miss!
